How to create a QR code menu for your restaurant in Morocco

A QR code menu lets customers browse your menu on their phones. For a café, restaurant or riad, start with a readable, up-to-date menu, then choose the service tools your team needs.

Prepare a menu that is easy to browse

Gather dish names, descriptions, prices and menu categories. Use photos that accurately represent the products you serve. Check food information before publishing it.

On a phone, a short description and a clear price are more useful than a long image of your printed menu. Check accents, numbers and reading direction for Arabic content.

Choose between browsing and table ordering

A viewable menu is enough when customers order with staff. QR66 offers this with Essential. Restaurant adds ordering and floor and kitchen tools for one location.

QR ordering does not replace your point of sale or invoicing software. QR66 supports browsing and service; ActionERP can handle commercial management within the agreed scope.

Create and check your first menu

Start a trial with a few items, then review the result before publishing the full menu. The Restaurant demo uses a fictional example to explain the journey.

  1. Open the QR66 trial and choose the menu.
  2. Enter the menu name, a few dishes and their prices.
  3. Review the preview on a phone and correct the details.
  4. Continue in your account, complete categories and photos, then save and publish your menu.
  5. With Restaurant, set up tables and test an order with floor and kitchen staff.

Test before printing

Scan with several phones, at the intended print size and in your dining room’s lighting. Keep strong contrast and a clear margin around the code. Avoid folds, reflections and locations customers cannot reach.

Test Internet access too: the hosted menu and order submission require a connection. Plan how to help customers without a phone or a connection.

Update dishes without reprinting the QR

When your QR points to the same hosted menu, you can update that menu without replacing the QR. Check the preview, confirm publication, then scan an installed display to review the result.

Remove items no longer served and check prices after every change. The QR must open the published page; do not distribute a private preview link to customers.

Plan the budget and setup

Check current pricing to choose between a viewable menu and Restaurant tools. Confirm the period, limits and activation terms with the team. Prices are not fixed in this guide.

Printed displays, hardware and on-site installation are separate. For the first service, appoint someone to check the menu and help the team use it.
